Last night I gave the LS Redwood Rosewood E2 a kiss good buy, closed up the top, and sent her off in the hands of the FEDEX man, or in this case lady ![]() She'll reemerge in Fayetteville North Carolina - this guitar is going to a man that will use it for both weekend gigging and Sunday Church - so I couldn't be happier about the life it will lead ![]() The best part, John, its owner has already re-uped for another - this one is going to be a Brazilian Rosewood Adirondack Dreadnought. I'm having custom purflings for the top and rosette made to match his guitar strap which his mother gave him when he was a child, he has used it his whole life. This will indeed be a very personalize instrument. Lance |

Is the guitar, in it's case, in a guitar case shipping box, surrounded by styro peanuts enough protection to ship if I FedEx overnite? I have 2 to go to Michigan Monday and I am a nervous wreck! ![]() |

BobJ, im going to buy those tiny wood stips used for making classical rosettes from LMI - they have all the colors i need - I checked with Gurien and there not going to be doing custom motifs for at least 2 years. Larry - its in the cedar creek - guitar box - peanuts - with a wing and a prayer ![]() |

Bet he will do it and make a very fine Job of it too Brad. Lance your works is stunning. Larry - Just a tip on packing, I like to pack out the area behind the headstock, just to stop the guitar from being damaged by "whiplash", just make sure whatever you use is ok with your finish. |
